The ‘Family Medicine Obstetrics Group’ at Halton Healthcare consists of 13 family physicians from our community who provide comprehensive family-centred low-risk obstetrical care for our patients in the community. Our vision is to provide prenatal and obstetrical care from a family-centered perspective while optimizing our patients’ care.
As our patient populations are faced with different co-morbidities, there have been changes made to recommendations for routine prenatal care. We want to inform and empower our fellow family physicians to continue to provide great prenatal care.
