Halton Physicians In The News

Voices Rock Medicine, a Canadian women physician choir, was featured on Canada's Got Talent singing an inspiring cover of "Fight Song" on April 5th, 2022. Included in this group of incredible, inspiring women is our very own physician, Dr Iuliia Povieriena, a hospitalist in Georgetown.

"Voices Rock Medicine is a choir of diverse women physicians who find joy, connection, and inspiration through singing. No experience required! After releasing a successful virtual performance of “We Rise Again” during the pandemic, the group saw the greater impact and joy that it had on their community, their families and Canadians and hope to continue to spread the love while on the CGT stage."
